The development of Telos Infinity continues. For example, the Telos Infinity IP Intercom platform has recently been upgraded to Infinity 1.7 and Telos Infinity VIP has been launched.
Infinity Dashboard
Telos Infinity is the intercom system that operates entirely via AoIP (Livewire+/AES67). It is scalable, easy to
integrate, efficient and reduces costs of ownership. With the upgrade to Infinity 1.7, there are some big changes. To start with,
Dashboard Basic and Dashboard Advanced have been replaced by Dashboard Application and Dashboard Server. All features are common
across the Dashboard platform - the only difference is the number of devices and users.
Dashboard Application is a standalone PC application for small- to medium-sized Infinity systems for a single user. It's available in licenses for systems of 4, 8, 16 or 24 devices. Do you have a larger system? Then you need Dashboard Server, which can be used with an unlimited number of devices and multiple users.
Infinity Dashboard allows you to manage your IP intercom system digitally. All hardware and software components in the system can be managed on just one page. The simple interface allows you to easily make updates or changes to your system.
Beltpack
One of the devices available with the Telos Infinty IP Intercom platform is the
Beltpack. Previously it was only available with two channels, now there is
also a four-channel
Beltpack! The Beltpack Key configuration tool adds Talk/Listen channels 3 and 4 and supports the BP4's "3-channels + Reply"
mode.
This is not the only upgrade of the Beltpack, they've also added a silicon rubber-based rugged Beltpack protective sleeve. These are designed to keep beltpacks safe from the kind of impact damage often associated with portable communication devises and reduce wear and tear over time. The material efficiently transfers heat from the active device to its outer layer, ensuring that the high level of protection does not compromise performance of the Beltpack.
VIP for everyone
No matter what your situation is, you can use Infinity VIP!
Telos Infinity Virtual Intercom Platform (VIP) is the first fully-featured Cloud-based intercom system. It delivers sophisticated communication virtually on any device: smartphone, laptop, desktop or tablet. This way you can use Telos Infinity VIP at home, in the studio or on-prem.
In addition to being accessible on all places, Telos Infinity VIP has more advantages. For example, fewer hardware is required to get the system working, resulting in lower purchase and maintenance costs.
Virtual showcase
Telos Alliance understands that you are curious about their new Infinity
VIP system. To make sure you learn everything about this system they organised a virtual showcase on June 23, 19:00 Dutch
time.
Intercom expert Martin Dyster walked you through all the features and answered your questions! Did you miss it? No worries, you can watch it here.
Infinity Link Lite
Infinity Link Lite is the
Voice over IP (VoIP) mode for Beltpacks and Panels. It provides instant connectivity for at home and remote workflows with minimal
configuration and adaptive bandwidth. This is a free option available on all devices with Infinity 1.7 or above.
Redundant Ethernet Support
Infinity Panels now support SMPTE ST2022-7 Seamless Protection
Switching. With this method both NIC ports are connected to separate networks so that redundant streams of SMPTE 2022 packets can create
a single reconstructed output stream trough seamless protection switching at the RTP datagram level.
In addition, Bonded Failover Mode is added. This is an alternative means to provide network redundancy via the secondary NIC port on an Infinity Panel. In this mode, the Panel will detect when the network connection is lost at the primary port and connect via the secondary in the event of network failure.
